One of the biggest things I miss about Phoenix are the swimming pools. We had one my entire life growing up, as did just about every friend and family member. Most of my childhood memories include a swimming pool. Granted, it does not get too hot here in Flagstaff, but I really miss just the simple enjoyment and fun a swimming pool gives. And Natalie is a girl after her momma's heart.....she is a water baby. She would spend all night in the bathtub if we let her. And I can't tell you how much she loves swimming in Nana's pool in Anthem. So this is the year for swimming lessons. We got her signed up at the city's Aquaplex. My pictures are super dark (crappy camera) and far away....but she had a blast. There are only three kids in her class and her good buddy Emma is one of them. They are learning the basics: floating, blowing bubbles, paddling, kicking, etc. I am anxious to see how well she does. Enjoy the pics.
